Integrated Management Systems

Using synergy effects through integrated management systems

Linking or integrating different management systems not only brings cost advantages but also organizational simplifications.

In many companies, different management systems exist side by side, e.g. for quality, environmental protection, occupational safety, etc. But not everywhere they are consistently applied. However, if the interaction between the systems is only "virtual", i.e. if they are only superficial or not at all connected, the associated personnel, time and financial expenditure often stands in stark contradiction to their performance.

Combining the various requirements in an integrated system approach minimizes the total expenditure for setting up and maintaining the entire management system. Through process-oriented auditing of several management systems at the same time, a variety of synergy effects can be used: For example, the preparation of planned management systems can be checked within the audits of existing systems in order to facilitate the subsequent introduction of the new system.

Cost advantages of up to 50% compared to the separate handling of the individual procedures are not uncommon. The consolidation of audit dates, for example, reduces the time required for a single audit on site, the duration of which is significantly shorter than the sum of the individual audits.

Almost all our auditors are qualified to test according to several standards at the same time. They always shed light on an integrated management system from different perspectives and thus quickly identify a wide range of potential for improvement that will benefit the company.
